Town & Gown Christmas Productions

If you’re wanting something a little more Christmassy for your advent countdown then you might want to take a visit to Town and Gown. Town and Gown is a unique treasure to Cambridge combining both a Pub/eatery and Theatre. With a downstairs area suited for guests to grab a bite to eat and a beautiful upstairs theatre, there really is no place quite like it.

This year they are performing the Miracle On 34th Street: A Live Musical Radio Play. This production see’s a department store Santa claiming that he is the real Kris Kringle. His case is taken all the way to the Supreme Court and a little girl’s belief makes the difference in the ‘miracle.’ With some sing-along Christman carols, this all time favourite Christmas movie makeover will get you in the festive spirit. The production is running from the 2nd of December all the way up until Christmas Eve so head on over and book your tickets now.

Or if you’re looking for things to do just after Christmas, but before the kids go back to school then you may be interested in Father Frost. This performance is a musical fairy tale about a girl and her dog making an unexpected friend. Father Frost has been described as heartwarming and fun for all the family, so if you’re interested in a Russian fairy tale why not check it out at Town and Gown this winter season?
