If you are arriving by car to go Punting in Cambridge:
Park and Ride services are located around the city, there are five in total. The site best for you will depend on where you are coming from. You have one north of the city, another one both east and west of Cambridge and the last two are south east and south west that all link to all the major roads that come into the city. The buses from all of the Park and Rides go to Drummer Street – from here it is a 10 minute walk to our location. The Bus from the Madingley Park and Ride stops on Bridge street, which is just a 5 minute walk from our departure point. City Centre Parking
There are a number of multi story car parks in the city Centre and you can find more information about parking in Cambridge here.
Please note that traffic can be extremely heavy in Cambridge City Centre, especially at the weekends, so please expect queues when entering Car Parks. If you have booked onto one of our punting tours, please leave plenty of time to complete your journey to avoid arriving late for your departure.
There are also two Pay and Display bays on Pound Hill and Chesterton Lane which are free after 5pm.
Arriving by Train/Bus:
From the train station take any bus into the city Centre. From the main city Centre bus terminal (Drummer St) our punt station is a 10 minute walk away. Alternatively you can walk (30 minutes) or take a taxi from the station.
Arriving by Taxi:
If arriving by taxis please asked to be dropped off just outside La Mimosa Restaurant on Thompsons Lane.
