Mothering Sunday is just around the corner, a time to show your mum just how much she means to you. Next Sunday is Mother’s Day in the UK and around now we are all thinking of what we can do to say our thanks to our amazing mothers. This day has been a big part of the calendar in Britain which is the forth Sunday of Lent and originates from the day that people would visit their ‘mother’ church. It then however developed into an occasion which honoured the mothers of children. Adopting the name ‘Mother’s Day’ which originally belonged to the American secular holiday (even though there is no connection between this occasion and the American festival).
So… why not celebrate this special time of year with your loved ones on a chauffeured punt tour this mothering Sunday?

If you would like to make your Mothers Day Private Tour even more special you could always add an Afternoon Cream Tea picnic to have onboard as a lunchtime or afternoon treat. There are two punting picnic options available for you to choose from:
Mini Afternoon Tea for One
Included is a bottle of mineral water. One fresh scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam. As well as three finger sandwiches. All presented in a box or bag for convenience with a napkin, knife and plastic cup. Price is an additional £10 per person.
Luxury Afternoon Tea for One
Included is a soft drink (Bottlegreen elderflower & pomegranate). One fresh scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Three finger sandwiches. One macaroon and an afternoon tea cake square. All presented in a box and bag with a napkin, knife & fork, plastic cup and plate. Price is an additional £20 Per person.)
