Refunds & Cancellation Policy
Lost tickets/confirmations can be reissued in advance of the booking date.
Private Punting Tour Bookings that are cancelled more that 72 hours in advance are eligible to a 70% refund or can be rescheduled within the next 6 months. If only a deposit has been taken this will be retained. Bookings cancelled with less than 72 hours will not be refunded but can be rearranged for a fee of £15 plus (plus the difference if the new time/date is more expensive) up to 24 hours before the departure date.
Shared Punting Tour Bookings are eligible to reschedule their tickets to a new date and time with more than 24 hours notice of the departure date (charges will apply if a more expensive date/time is selected).
If the booking has any additional add ons, i.e. Picnics or Drinks, then these items are non-refundable or exchangeable within 14 days of the booking date. A 70% refund is available before this time frame.
If the booking has any additional Services attached to the punting experience, i.e. Walking Tours and Scavenger Hunts, then these extra’s are non refundable within one month of the booking date. A 70% refund or reschedule is eligible if cancelling more than one month in advance.
During COVID-19 – If you or anyone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms or has been told to isolate DO NOT COME PUNTING. Please alert our office team by 9am on the day of your booking and we will reschedule or refund your booking. For more information see the COVID-19 page.
If you have rescheduled your booking you will be sent a new booking confirmation with your new booking details. Your previous confirmation/ ticket will not be valid.
If you fail to show up for your tour without letting us know, no refund or rescheduling will be applicable.
The Traditional Punting Company reserves the right to withdraw a tour at any given time. In this case any outstanding bookings will be given the choice of an alternative product of equal or higher value or a full refund will be issued.
Refunds will be issued via the customers original payment method. Refunds can take up to 5 workings days to be appear back in the customers account.
Tours still run in all weather conditions.
Sometimes, we will be forced to close if there is a risk to the health and safety of our customers and staff. In the event of this happening, we will contact all bookings at the earliest opportunity and those affected will be entitled to either a full refund or rescheduling for another date.
