Refunds & Cancellation Policy
We strive to offer flexibility and clarity in our refunds and cancellation process. Please review the following policies carefully:
Private Tours
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled tour are eligible for a 70% refund. If a 30% depositwas paid, this amount will be retained as part of the cancellation.
- Alternatively, you may choose to receive a credit note valid for 12 months or reschedule your booking. Additional charges may apply if the new date or time is more expensive. No refunds will be issued if the new date is less expensive.
- Cancellations made 12 to 24 hours before the tour are non-refundable but can be rearranged for a £15 fee per boat, plus any price difference for the new date or time.
- Cancellations made within 12 hours of the booking are non-refundable and non-amendable.
Shared Tours
- Cancellations made more than 12 hours in advance are eligible for a 70% refund, a credit note valid for 12 months, or rescheduling. Additional charges may apply if the new date or time is more expensive. No refunds will be issued if the new date is less expensive.
- Cancellations made 2 to 12 hours in advance are non-refundable but can be rearranged for a £15 fee per group, plus any price difference for the new date or time.
- Cancellations made within 2 hours of the booking are non-refundable and non-amendable.
Extras (e.g., Picnics, Drinks)
- Extras must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
- These items are non-refundable or exchangeable within 14 days of the booking date.
- A 70% refund is available for cancellations made more than 14 days in advance.
Additional Services
- Activities such as walking tours, wine tastings, and scavenger hunts are non-refundable within one month of the booking date.
- Cancellations made more than one month in advance are eligible for a 70% refund or reschedule.
Lost Tickets or Confirmations
Lost tickets or booking confirmations can be reissued free of charge if requested before the booking date. Please contact us promptly to ensure a smooth reissue process.
Rescheduling Confirmations
If your booking is rescheduled, you will receive a new booking confirmation. Your original confirmation or ticket will no longer be valid.
Non-Appearance
Failure to attend your scheduled tour will result in the booking being non-refundable and non-reschedulable.
Bad Weather
Our tours operate year-round and in most weather conditions. However, if we determine that conditions are unsafe for customers or staff, tours may be canceled. Unsafe conditions may include extreme temperatures, strong river flows, lightning storms, or gale-force winds. In such cases:
- We will notify you as soon as possible.
- You will be offered a full refund, the option to reschedule for a later date or a credit note.
If you choose to cancel due to weather concerns, our standard cancellation terms will apply.
Refund Processing
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used by the customer. Please allow up to 5 working days for the refund to appear in your account.
