The Milton Maze pumpkin patch

Pumpkin picking is goes hand in hand with Autumn. As the weather turns grey, that orange pop of colour is definitely needed. The Milton maze planted a wide variety of gourds so you can create your own indoor pumpkin show. They managed to harvest over 30,000 pumpkins this year, so you can pick pumpkins of all different shapes and colours to carve, cook or enjoy. You can buy white pumpkins, warty pumpkins, striped pumpkins, and even pink pumpkins in addition to the standard orange pumpkin in a wide range of sizes.  You can also enjoy local food and drinks to keep you warm during your visit.

Cambridge Junction

October is filled with many artistic events in Cambridge. As many artists and bands are performing this autumn in our cosy little city you’ll be spoilt for choice on your days off. If you enjoy music and art, we definitely recommend The Cambridge junction events. They are hosting amazing bands this season like Porridge radio, and Midlake, to name but a few. In addition to theatrical performances and comedy shows that are entertaining for the whole family.

Having a beer in a pub is a classic, especially with the World Cup (2022) approaching. Live sports in a pub is a simple yet satisfying experience. Cambridge offers a list of local pubs that feel cosy and homey. You can sit back and enjoy a pint or two with your friends. The Alma is one of the most popular sports pubs in Cambridge. The pub has a wide selection of ales and beers. More importantly, it also has SKY Sports, BT Sport, and ESPN. In addition to their themed nights with live music and quiz nights. It is definitely not one to miss if you are looking for a chilled night in autumn.

You can also check out  Grain & Hop store. It is situated around the city centre of Cambridge. It ticks all the checks for a sports bar from a relaxing atmosphere, to great food and a nice selection of cocktails and beers.

Pumpkin spice latte and pastry punting

An Autumn vibe check is not complete without a pumpkin spice latte. Most coffee shops in Cambridge have their own version of a pumpkin spice latte. Some even have pumpkin spice pastries.  Some bakeries are getting reactive with their pastries like Gail’s monster fingers. A tasty treat that has the shape of a monster finger but tastes so scrumptious. Who knew monster fingers can taste so good?  Their autumn lunch menu is very delicious with a wide selection of sandwiches and cakes. They also just opened a new branch by the Cambridge train station.

Picnic Punting, Punting Extra's, Pastry, Waffle, Fruit

A local favourite of ours is also Norfolk st. Bakery,  an independent bakery in the heart of Cambridge. they have some of the best pastries and artisan bread in the city and an amazing vegan chocolate cake.  Therefore, we suggest grabbing coffee and a pastry and gliding through the river cam in our chauffeured punting tours for maximum relaxation.
