This December we have put together a Christmas themed scavenger hunt to entertain the kids this festive season. Your family can have a magical experience in the beautiful city of Cambridge hunting for Santa’s elves, reindeer, dinky door’s and much more for only an additional £2.50 per child.

Punting in Cambridge this winter

We all know that it can be a struggle to keep the kids entertained on the run up to the big day, and even harder to hide the presents! So our new scavenger hunt should manage to keep them entertained for at least a day in the advent countdown.

The hunt itself has 2 parts. The first part is punting along the river cam finding a serious of answers to some Christmas activities. The next part is around the city; following clues and searching for festive answers!

Once the Christmas scavenger hunt has been successfully completed there will be a sweet winter treat waiting for your little ones at Hardy’s sweetshop, a reward for all of your efforts.

Christmas Punt and Hunt

This Christmas scavenger hunt and activity booklet can only be purchased alongside a Shared or Private Cambridge Punting tour.

The hunt & activity booklets are available as an add-on once you have selected your punting tour. Please make sure that you are booking between the 4th and the 31st of December for this Christmas add-on to appear. Select the number of booklets you would like to purchase – we do recommend that each child receives one booklet so they can all complete the activities together and each receive their prize.

Your pack will be handed to you at the start of your punting experience – we do recommend opting for an earlier punting tour time so you have the rest of the day to complete the city part of the scavenger hunt to experience the full festivities.

The questions during your punting experience will be used to form your final code for your christmassy surprise. The city part of the booklet is an additional Christmas hunt to carry on the fun. This part of experience will take you roughly an hour and will guide you around the iconic centre of Cambridge.

The hunt & activity book is for those aged between 4 and 11, with the older kids being able to complete the hunt by themselves but parents might need to help point the younger members of the family in the right direction. Our Christmas punt and hunt is child-friendly, full of festive spirit and cheer, with magical stories throughout. So get your Christmas jumpers on and enjoy with the whole family.
