What to expect

Let’s set the scene. You call up Mum in the morning and announce a special surprise. After making your way to the city centre, head toward our location. Our amazing team will be there to greet you both. To elevate the experience and show our gratitude to all mothers out there, we are gifting mothers with a tempting box of chocolates.

That means that in addition to treating your eyes to the scenic River Cam, you can nibble on an indulgent sweet treat to tantalize all senses at once! Elegantly gliding along the Cambridge college backs is guaranteed to create lasting memories for you and Mum. Ensure that your phone is fully charged – you’ll want to take plenty of photos!

Mother’s Day Punting Prices

Our gifted box of chocolates is available for private tours of any type. This means that you can secure the package for as little as £109. If you’d prefer to have the special experience with just yourself and Mum (with one of our chauffeurs, of course!), then a private tour for 2 is the choice for you. But if the whole family want to tag along, then perhaps a private tour for up to 6, or up to 12 would work best.

 

If you would like to come along for a punting tour on Mother’s Day but would prefer a shared tour option, whilst you won’t qualify for our complimentary gift, you can bring along your own treats for mum! Food and drink are also permissible on shared tours, but we ask that customers are considerate of other passengers onboard. Shared tours for 2 start from £35 on Mother’s Day weekend. Mother’s Day punting doesn’t have to break the bank.

How to elevate Mother’s Day punting

 

With our booking system, it’s easy to add on a luxurious afternoon tea picnic – courtesy of Harriets Cafe Tearooms. In for a penny – in for a pound! Mum deserves it. An afternoon tea is a quintessential option for a Mother’s Day treat, and enjoying it with punting is a magical combination. Who would have thought that scones, finger sandwiches and pastries could be enjoyed on a punting tour!? We are full of surprises.

If Mum would also like a bottle of bubbly to mark the occasion, you can easily add one to your booking! A chilled bottle of Prosecco or Champagne will be ready for you to pop open as you float along the River Cam.
